MY Sony DVD Burner should burn disc that is either + or - because that is what is written on the the burner, yet it only burns + dvd and rejects any and all - dvd. Is this a driver issue or was the burner mislabeled

In reply to: sony DVDRW +/- finds people noting RITEK media to be problematic on this drive.

"VERBATIM is the only RELIABLE DVD+R DUAL LAYER MEDIA end of story."

Interesting statement!

I see some suggest "CROSS FLASHING." My thought is that's what I would do if I was willing to take a chance and was ready to replace it if that failed.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
