SONY DV Digital Handycam DCR-TRV22 No Audio after transfer

I have a SONY DV Digital Handycam DCR-TRV22 I have No Audio after transfering a movie! Audio can by heard during playback on the camera b4 transfer. Tried playback using windows media player - still nothing. Can someone advise me please?

What are the audio cables out of the camera plugged into

on the computer. Within the computer, do you have that device set as the one to record from, is its volume turned up, and have you unclicked the null setting for it?
