These two cameras were introduced at the same time and they are essentially the same camera in two different bodies.
Some people like the shape, size, feel of one over the other. Go to a camera store and get your hands on both and choose the one you like.
You might even find that the prices are different on the two cameras. Get the one that suits you or your pocketbook.

Essentially, they are almost the same spec wise, with the only difference being size, shape, battery type and most notably, the LCD size going from 1.5 inch to 2.5 inch. Other then those, I can't see the difference between the two, yet Cnet rates the W1 better. If anyone knows anything about these two cameras, I would like to know which would be the better buy.
