Sony DSC T90 Cybershot won't take photos.

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> <span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> <span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> My Sony T90 Cybershot won't take photos. I depress the shutter button and all I get is a double beep but no photo is taken. I've tried the following: I've gone to 'initialize' in the menu and reset the settings; I've done a manual reset by taking the battery out and pressing the shutter button; I've charged the battery fully and I've emptied the memory card. I've noticed a small palm/hand symbol appears at the top of the display when I try to take a picture. It has the word "on" on it. Hoping someone can help. Thanks.
