Sony DSC-P93A battery replacement question

This camera came with Sony AA NI-MH rechargable batteries rated at 2100 mAh. Is it possible to replace these batteries at a higher mAh of say 2500 or 3000 without damage to the camera.

I do not see this addressed any place and would like to consider purchasing additional batteries with 2500 mAh.

Here's why. That number is not "exact." Your mass produced battery can have quite a tolerance to voltage and capacity.
