SONY DRU-540A DVD burner firmware

Hi Folks,

I heard some where there is a firmware for SONY DRU-540A which will speed up the burning. I couldn't find the firmware in sony website. Could some one point me the location where I can download the stuff !!!

Thanks for the link; if anything, it directed me to the update page for Sony's DRU-710A which I bought today.
My question is why is this drive $30 cheaper than the DRU-540A when this one (the DRU-710A) is a DUAL
LAYER recorder and even has better writing speeds for DVD+R than the 540A?

30 dollars cheaper than the 540 you say. What store was this.. Anything higher on the side of 140.00 is crazy.. Personally I would'nt spend that much and the 540A is a good single drive. The duals will take over down the road when the firmware gets better and the media gets cheeper.
