sony dcr sr45 WMM problem

i have a Sony dcr-sr45 and im trying to get my footage to work on windows movie maker. when moving the file onto the bar on the bottom only the audio shows up. i did however get one stinking video to get both out of the 100 plus tried. any suggestions?

i also get this error on some clips

could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from.

are you adding directly from the camera, or are you copying it to your computer and the ading it to wmm?

i have them uploaded to my computer already. i have posted some clips i have made on youtube and other hosting sites. those have all work very well. so yeah.....:(
