Sony dcr connection to pc

Is there any way to connect the sony hc20 drc via usb cable ?
i havent got the cd rom that comes with the camcorder

I tryed the sony usb drivers with no luck

is there any software i could download so that i can plug it in via usb and put my pics and vids onto the pc and then onto the web

adobe photo downlond dosent pic up any thing and says its need plugings..

I'd just go with firewire.

But i dont have a firewire port i dont think
and then i have to get a chip and then the wire

I would like to get a kit which has all the bits i need just to get the sony dcr pics on the computer

I get my firewire cable and card often under 20 bucks. I never unpack the USB cable or drivers.

There are those that much try USB. I've learned to stop trying it. It hurts too much and the video quality is less.

Your choice.

They dont stock any of the stuff im after :@
Dicided to sell the dcr on ebay and just for something that have everything that i need
