Nikon released a series of new cameras, and the 4600 and 5600 were the low end.
Take a look at the 5900, which can be found for about $260.
It has 640x480 at 30fps.

Seems like it is not possible to have a good quality movies and photos in one camera.
A week ago I bought Nikon Coolpix 4600.
Great photos - excellent colors, sharpness.
But the movies suck. 15 fps. Not sharp at all.
And plus it has no sound.
So I returned it.
Yesterday I bought Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S60.
Movies are sharper (but the colors are poor).
Photos are not as good as Nikon had.
Can I get a camera in the range of $230-280.00
with both good movies and image qality?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Rob
