I noticed that you skipped over the HX7V.
It is the replacement for the HX5V.
For a review on the HX5V, I suggest you read this review/comparison:

For a review on the HX9V I suggest you read this review/comparison:

After reading the reviews, I would pick the HX5V over the HX9V (and HX7V)
if I were putting picture quality as the main goal.
The 16 megapixel sensor on the HX9V (& HX7V) is putting too many pixels on a too small sensor assembly.
This results in lower detail by adding noise which must be reduced by noise reduction firmware in the camera.
The HX5V only has 10 megapixels on the same size sensor assembly as the HX9V (HX7V).
This permits the use of bigger individual pixel sensors on the same size sensor assembly, which capture more light and produce less noise.
However, the HX9V got a good review for video usage.
So if video is more important for you, the HX9V is a good choice.
But you should read the reviews and make up your own mind.
