Sony Click To DVD Playback error on tv has "rolling effect"

Dec 11, 2005 10:25AM PST

I have tried to create a few dvds using MPEG Files and when it completes and I put my DVD into my dvd player connected to my TV the screen rolles like the old tv's that had the adjustment,(i forget what it is called) but the screen rolls and only does this on the tv mode, I dont have the PAL format checked since i live in USA any ideas?

Ive tried buring the same movie twice and it still isnt working.

However I burnt a music video and it works fine. I can not seem to figure this out unless it is the MPEG VIDEO itself, but it works well on the computer.

Thanks for the help, Mark

OK now I understand,,, Yes the "latest thing" is to capture the video and burn the DVD at the same time, kind of a "one" step process.
Capture DV and convert it to MPG2 and burn to the DVD,
my guess is the you will end up makeing a lot of coasters in the process.
A standalone DVD recorder that has a firwire input would work better. John
