Sony car audio system

Hello members of cnet!
I have a question, and i will be grateful if you can respond me.
I have a radio mp3 player in my car from sony (xplod), but doesen-t have usb on his interface.
My question is: can i find a interface with usb, with the same pins like mine and just change the interface ? ( to upgrade it with usb player) . Does somebody tried this?
Scuse me for my english. Thank you!

Re: usb

- If I understand you correctly you want to build a USB-interface into that car audio system, so it can play mp3's from a USB stick. That's correct?
- How do you play mp3's now on this 'radio mp3 player'?
- And what are 'pins like mine'? What pins do you have exactly?

Yes the first part is correct!
Now i'm listening music, from the cd (format mp3)
And i would like to take a interface with usb (from the same producer sony)
Pins = when you remove the interface on the back you have metalic pins, they connect the device with the interface.
Thank you

What do you currently connect with the pins on the back?

Easier solution

Get yourself an FM transmitter and can plug that into your mp3 player and tune up the radio channel it broadcasts to. This is what my oldest does for her car, she uses for iPod now I think, previously used an older mp3 player with headphone jack output on it.
