Sony, Canon...which one?

Jun 12, 2006 8:21PM PDT

Ok, I bought a Sony HC36...but wanted Sony HC46 which Walmart didn't have when I bought the HC36. Ya, I know, should have gone online to buy cheaper and find what I wanted.

Now I'm reading reviews on Canon Elura 100 and am sold. Or am I?

Sony HC36, HC46 or Canon Elura 100? Your thoughts?

Is the noise with CE100 really that bad? The larger CCD on CE100 worth it? I'm enjoying the Sony HC36 so far, but have nothing to compare it to.

Have a decent digital camera, so I don't need stills. BUT, would like to grab a still or two off my DV tape. Is that possible with any of the above or any DV Camcorder?

Saw where someone bought a Canon Elura for $218 at Dell. I sure didn't see that there. Is there a secret to a good price?

So many questions. Thanks in advance!

Jaye
