Sony Bravia XBR49X Reboots - Conflicts with Fire Stick?

Since the recent software/firmware upgrade for our Sony Bravia XBR49X 830C, we have been noticing issues between the Sony and the Amazon Fire Stick (2nd Gen) plugged into HDMI - 1. Periodically, while watching a show on one of the Apps on the fire stick, the Sony TV reboots. It is more common on the TABLO and Sling App. The sequence of events includes the loss of audio for about 10 seconds and then the Sony reboots. After rebooting it does return to the same show. Already checked with Amazon and they indicated they were unaware of any issues. Does anyone on this forum have any ideas? Thanks.

Another HDMI port? Why I try is that some TVs have CeC (or another name for same feature) and this can cause oddities.

It is worth a try. I will switch to HDMI 2 this afternoon.

Thanks -- replugged the Fire Stick into HDMI-3 (ARC) port two days ago and haven't had any issues so far. Will continue to monitor.
