The Sony BDPS1 Blue ray player WILL GIVE YOU FULL 1080p VIDIO OUTPUT THRU H.D.M.I. So for you few lucky dogs that have a newer 1080P t.v you should be in hi-def heaven I got this information from Sony Style on there site have a nice week end stewart
