Sony Blu Ray Region Change.

I am having trouble changing the Region code on my Blu Ray for my Sony VAIO VGN-AR590E. I did a manual change from region 1 to 2 but when I press "apply" the region immediately reverts back to region 1. I bought the notebook in the states but I live in Europe and want to watch movies here. Can anyone please help. Thanks very much. Cheers.

There is a 5 change limit.

Nothing busted here. But you bet consumers scream when the limit is hit.

Fix? Replace the drive or have Sony change it for you. Hint: A new drive is cheaper.
