Headphones & Mp3 Players forum

General discussion

Hi, I've been told that the program used by sony to control the database in a mp3 sony slow your computer down. Can someone confirm me this.
Also, wanted to know if you know any mp3 brand ( not Ipod ) that had a letter to your drive and that you simply have to put your songs into the letter. Thank you in advance.

a simple player where you can drag songs from the music folder on your computer onto your player.

I'm not too familiar with the subject, but I do know that some of the SanDisk Sansa players do support this type of music transfer - definitely the e100 series players.

I have a no-name brand player that does this that I got as a freebie, but I mainly use it as a thumb drive for my data files.

Hopefully someone else can post some more ideas.
