Something disappeared from my Vista?

by 9dosus / November 7, 2008 5:37 AM PST

I've been using Media Monkey for about a year now, most of that time on Vista (home basic, now SP1), with no problem. Suddenly when trying to run MM scripts, I get this message:

Error happened during script initialization:
Could not start Windows scripting control (msscript.ocx). You can install if from

This has never happened before. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it? I tried perusing the MS downloads section, but couldn't figure out what I was looking for.

Any help is very appreciated!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
