Someone PLEASE help me, I feel hopeless...

Okay, my computer has not updated since Dec. 1st of 2008.. i have tied running a system scan on it, and doing a system restore. Nothing happens, the only thing it keeps telling me is that there was an error with a code 80070006. I am desperate, please can someone help me?

As this is a Windows Update issue, you are entitled to free technical support from Microsoft, regardless of current warranty status. Given their abilities to better troubleshoot such issues using their own diagnostic tools, I recommend you click here to begin a new support incident.
