Somebody can tell me

which of these is better between HP, Sony and Toshiba?
Which would be useful at least for 5 years?

None make it to 5 years. For example...

The current battery technology degrades over use and time. Try 500 charges or 18 months till it's a shadow of when it was new. Also telling is that you can't buy a 5 year warranty.

The upside? Much cheaper than just a few years ago.

I'll give quality nod to Apple. Runner up is IBM. Oops, that's now Lenovo.

-> No one can assure you it will work in five years.
