1.) How many extensions/add-ons are available for Opera?
2.) Using the Back button, how is it possible to see a list of recent pages and go to a specific one? (That's without removing the default forward/back buttons and replacing them with those that support such a feature.)
3.) How is it possible to rearrange bookmarks directly from the bookmarks menu without going into the Manage Bookmarks option?
4.) Does Opera 9 have the built-in ability to spell check or does that require a separate download?
5.) Does Opera support MathML or XForms?
6.) Does Opera support the usage of multiple homepages?
7.) What happens when you try to search using the address bar?
Now, you could create a similar list of features opera has that Firefox lacks. Thus, I'm not saying one is superior to the other. On the contrary, my point is that there are clear differences which may appeal to different people.
I prefer Firefox for its simplicity, ease of complete customization, and user support, things I feel Opera has overlooked in some respects, instead focusing on adding unique features such as built-in BitTorrent support (which I find useless since the majority of the content is pirated) and Widgets (which I find limited since they only work while the browser is running).
Of course, user opinions vary based on their needs and desires.

I have used both Firefox and Opera. Besides a slower startup, not passing the Acid2 test and having no compatible themes, I just can't figure out why Firefox 2 is better than Opera 9. Could someone who has experience with both browsers tell me why one of those two browsers works better for you.
I'm sorry for the sarcasm, but oh so many people regard Firefox in the same way they would God.
Really, I have yet to understand it's superiority, so a Firefox-guru would be loved!
