some DTV channels missing on my LE-40M87BD

Hello, I have an LE-40M87BD LCD from Samsung. My local cable company has about 130 digital TV channels. I only get 2/3 of them because my TV apparently has something like "a hole in the freqency range" (according to the cable company technician) and some of the DTV channels are simply not recognized or "not seen" by the TV. I have a few other Samsung models at home: LE-52F96BD and LE-46F86BD - both of them "see" all the DTV channels. Is there a firmware upgrade to fix this for my LE-40M87BD ? Thank you. Michel

Re: hole

Can you tell the frequencies that are supposed to be in that hole. You cable company tech or help desk should be able to tell, if they know which channels you can receive, and which you can't. There must be a common factor.

hole

thanks for a quick post - it should be easy as I get all the channels on my other TVs - I will check tonight or will call the cable guy.
