some advice please with a sanyo xacti vpc-hd700 camcorder

hi i am fairly new to the high def camcorder side of things i can operate and watch back the film clips i have taken in high def on my tv (high def) but when the sd card is full and you transfer the files to the computer how do you keep them in high def for transfering back to view on your high def tv at a later date, does the xacti programme do this or is there another programme to ensure i can transfer from the camcorder sd card to computer and back again and still keep my clips in high def
