Question

Solution to Extending Network 400-500 Feet

Mar 30, 2015 7:54AM PDT

My boss wants to extend his wifi from his house to outback in a small shed like building so that we can access the internet only for basic stuff like connecting to our database. Nothing that requires much bandwidth.

The router is about 400-500ft from the shed and theres a building inbetween them as well.

I made a little diagram for the problem because I suck at explaining things.

My boss is kind of cheap so I really need like the minimum solution to this problem.

Answer
That would be a 100 meter cable.

It's at the edge of WiFi so for work it's not ideal. A 100 meter cable is pretty cheap.
