Question

Solid Key Logger

Jan 26, 2012 12:54AM PST

While running a full scan on my computer I happened to see a .exe file called "solid key logger" flash by, completely ignored by the AV software. Could this be part of a legit program or is it malicious? I did find a maljava trojan last week...which seems to be gone, but I can't really tell. Any advice would be wonderful. Thanks!

Answer
Apps we choose to install

Like those are not considered to be a virus. Some forget what a virus is and apps only get on the BAD LIST if they do something other than what they told us they would do.

But since I didn't

Choose to install this, that probably means that it's bad and I should try to remove it, right? I just that I can't seem to find it again. I've searched files (including hidden), searched the registry, looked at my processes/services, and I've even watched the virus scan again in hopes that I can catch the path name. Any ideas about how to find it?
