Question

Software/application to manage simple work tasks

by ellerten / March 6, 2018 6:21 AM PST

Hi,

I'm looking for a piece of software or web application to manage, track and keep status of small, simple manual tasks at my work.

We're a VOD Operations company, and therefore we have a lot of manual QC tasks on the VOD materials.

But I'm looking for a software to easily enter all those names of the content our employees have to manually check on a specific day.
Example: Movie A, Movie B and Movie C has to be checked at the 7th of march.
Movie D, Movie E and Movie F has to be checked at the 8th of march.

If there are any errors or it's all good it should be able to mark it on the task, and to me be able to filter on all tasks marked with e.g. "Error", "OK" or whatever before checking it off the task list.

Also if Movie B has not been completed on the 7th of march, it should be highlighted for the next day, or at least moved on to the upcoming day list of tasks.

Hope it makes sense, otherwise feel free to ask for clarification or a more in depth description.

Planalyze

I've been using Planalyze.io for something similar. It's a real-time daily planning & progress app that lets you create & prioritize a daily plan, and share it with your team. You could create recurring calendar events (in any calendar system), have them pull into Planalyze, and you can re-assign and confirm items.
