something like RoboForm. Look at their "How it works" page for more details.
It seems this not only saves web site login and password details, but can also save form details, such as the forms you might have to complete to give profile information.
It's an often used utility, and although I don't use it, it is in my view the industry leader.
Does that help?

Hi CNET. When I join websites I use diff emails accts, diff usernames, diff pw, & diff profile info.
(1) I need a way to keep track of all this in one place.
(2) FireFox will only sometimes pop up to ask if I want to save the pw. No, I did not set any preferences or exceptions. Also, when it does pop up & I do say yes, it doesn't always actually save it anyway. Besides that, it only saves the site, user name & pw-not my sign in/profile info.
(3) Is there a software program that'll help me with this? Of course Free is always great (But only if you know it's a safe download! My virus program doesn't catch add'l software they sneek in w/that download).
If the more efficient softwares, and user friendly ones aren't free, then low cost is next best. I tried RoboForm, but thats not working for me.
BTW, I just started making a new doc for each new email acct's username, pw, sign up info, etc in a folder called Email Accounts (word 2003).Time consuming & it only keeps the new email info, not the sites I use it for. I've used Yahoo for many yrs as my main email. I have gmail- which I'm not fond of 'cause it lacks features like searching my name, etc. I'm going to sign up to try using GMX.
Being otherwise somewhat computer savvy, I know if I use a client (like Outlook Express), that would save me from remembering which email accts I have to check, by using O.E. as 1 inbox.) But Ive had problems in the past with O.E. When I back up Ive lost a lot of info. Some sites you cant even get sent thru O.E. Unless, like Yahoo, you pay extra. There are other email acct sites that might use (POP mail, I think is the term?). But who knows how long they'll be around?
Oh yeah, I was thinking if Access 2003 would even help. I don't have the time to learn how to use it, even with the wizards. I don't think this will help with what I need even so.
Fact: I use Win 7 (still like XP better, tho) with Fire Fox 3.6.8 as my browser. I use AVG, Malwarebytes, Windows Defender, and I think another free MS product. Most set to scan auto. So far they've come up clean. Never had any problems. I'm hoping they'd pick up "sneaky" downloads.Hope this all makes sense.
Sorry this is long. But I've never used a forum, so Im not really sure how to condense it while providing the info you need to help. I really appreciate some help. Anyway questions re: add'l features I need, of course, just ask me ? Thank you so much for your patience reading my post!
