Software to edit HD

by xxclaro / July 21, 2009 4:38 AM PDT

I have a Sanyo Xacti FH1, and am looking for software to edit my video's. The MovieMaker on my Windows Vista doesn't recognize my video's,and the Nero software is pretty limited as far as I can tell. Any help?

No, I wasn't aware of this program. Is it safe? Once I download it, do I need to do anything further or will it do it's thing when I try to transfer my video's?

Okay, I followed the link and downloaded it, and sure enough it works! However, it's jsut a trial version, and you have to buy the real version. That would be fine, but it says in the description that it is free, and beware of site's that want to sell it. Not sure what to do, but glad to see it is possible to make this work. Thanks for the info.

Super was not a trial version.

I can only guess you got one of the sponsored or other for pay things.

Give me a link of what you downloaded.

On the opening page "
NO trial or evaluation version of SUPER

Yeah, I accidently downloaded a sponsor. It worked great, except for the watermark that it puts in the centre of the screen. I did finally get the Super, but so far can't figure out how to make it work. I know the camera records in MPEG4, but don't know what Windows movie maker needs it converted to in order to work.

I also use Virtual Dub and at first it was hard to use but as time passed and I learned more and explored the software more it has become one of those indispensable softwares I use.

To wit, I'm finding many that want software that does it with one click. While admirable it reminds me of the phrase "one trick pony."

Give yourself time to explore and learn. Also if the other software looks to do the job I can bet it doesn't cost that much.
