Software to Control a digital camera (Fujifilm S5000)

Nov 22, 2004 10:18PM PST

I'm trying to find out whether there is software to control my digital camera from my computer. I have a Fujifilm S5000 that has a boatload of features, including a 10x zoom, manual focus, manual exposure setting, etc. What I want to do is set up the camera on a tripod, connect the camera to the computer, then, instead of adjusting the settings using the buttons and dials on the camera itself, use a computer interface to do all that, including something as simple as actually taking the picture. Am I expecting too much?
