Memory and disk errors are what I find to cause such. Or overheated boxes and overtaxed power supplies.

Several pieces of software (Photoshop, Itunes)no longer want to load up. The error message in both cases refers to :
hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.
How do I make this problem go away so that the software will run properly again?
XP Pro SP2 installed. It seems to be dreadfully slow today. No known viruses present, no known spyware present (both scanned today with latest definitions.)
