Software download scam site

Here is another download scam site. It uses many unauthorized logos such as BBB,Cnet Certified shopper,Adobe,Visa and Mastercard. I have contacted the BBB, Adobe legal depts. The site still remains online.

Maybe Cnet will be more responsive on taking down the site.

I have added the site to the {growing} list of scam sites in the Forum Sticky here;

CNET's legal department always takes action when such sites are reported, but these sites are notoriously difficult to stop, especially if they are not in the jurisdiction of the US or any other country where reciprocal agreements exist.

But thanks once again, and we can hope that, by posting these sites as they appear, search engine optimisation will list them and others will read these posts, with any luck before they try to make a purchase.

Registered with Networksolutions in the US. I spoke to them(NS) and they said that they need a cease an desist order from the legal dept.
Do a whois on the domain.
