So what would happen if i .....

I have a 61" DLP 1080i(i think). When i bought the tv i was blown away by the picture. I also have a samsung 42" plazma and a viso LCD and really liked the DLP better. But as the bulb getts older the picture does not have near the quality it once did. Im not unhappy the TV is almost 2 years old and it is the original bulb. My extended service agreement is up at the end of the month and I have no dought that the buld is on its way out....so what would happen if i popped the bulb out and gave it a good shake?? Don't act like you haven't thought about it....lol
