My first employment after college was with the first importer of high quality products from Jaoan: Minolta Cameras.
Up until then, to say something was cheap, shoty, C-R-A-P was to say "Oh, it was made in Japan."
Ask anyone today and all the great words such as best, great value, well made etc. come forth. The Chinese have rushed to fill the void with a few other South Eastern countries and Africa right behind. When will they learn?
It is indeed a sad day when a great product made by foresighted companies can no longer compeate because of price and people are willing to take "just good enough."
Alas, the world is indeed changing.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
