...a program studying abroad, but couldn't really afford an international calling plan (and neither could I). However, we both have unlimited texting plans (but no data) in our respective countries. Is there a way to get around this? I was thinking that we could set up our IM providers so that all IMs we received could be forwarded to our cellphones. Basically, I was hoping she could send me text at my screen name, which would then be forwarded to my cell phone, and vice versa. I know AIM has IM Forwarding and AIM to Mobile, but I don't really understand how they work, and I don't want to do that and later find out I'm being charged $5 a text. Thoughts?
