so I was carrying a Belkin UPS by the handle

by jostenmeat / February 27, 2008 5:52 AM PST

of the box to connect to my server, and whaddya know, the bottom pops open, and all the stuff hits the ground hard.

Know the top edge is scratched, and when shaking it, seems the stuff is loose inside. DAMN.

It was originally double boxed from Amazon, but I had to open it to know which particular unit it was of course. I mean just the outside brown box, never fiddled with the actual Belkin box.

Do I take this to an electrician?
Contact Belkin?
Contact Amazon?

all of the above? or am i scrooed? *sigh*

Amazon has lax exchange policy I think. Maybe just tell them that the unit was faulty?
