Resolved Question

So far McAfee suite trialed fine

Oct 9, 2014 7:01AM PDT

up till now they are sending me prompts that i have less two weeks left of the trial before it ends.. since the recent prompts, i am witnessing random horizontal lines that quickly flash while the atti virus program is tic tic ticking/running whatever.. should i buy after the trial or try a different freebie like avg or others? I do not want trouble trying to remove McAfee and cause problems on this less than one year old acer desktop. tia John

Uninstall McAfee!

Hey dude,

I would suggest you uninstall McAfee. It shouldn't be called an antivirus software, its more like a virus itself. Try other freebies like kaspersky or avast. Both are very good. I use quick heal paid antivirus. It works quite well for me. And please stay away from Norton products too, they occupy too much disk space and slow your system too.
