pinboozie,
I don't want you to "have to deal with it", I'd rather help you fix the problem permanently.
Two initial steps I would take:
1. Download and install the latest firmware update for your television.
2. Have the cable company do a reset on your cable box. (or better, if you can, exchange it).
Keep me posted.

Occasionally I get an all snow picture when changing from one channel with a picture to another. I get the snow on the channel that I am attempting to change to. All I need to do to get rid of the snow is generally just switch to another channel and the picture comes back up again and then switch back to the channel I want and the picture comes up. I only have it hooked up to a cable box with HDMI cables that have been checked for good connection. This does not happen often, but is happening a little more now frequently now. Any ideas if this is a problem with the TV, or just an occasional reception issue with the cable box or the TV losses its source for a second when changing channels. Just wanted to make sure everything is fine with the TV, I can deal with the occasional snow if that?s all it is. Thanks for the help.
