Maybe it's the other way around.
Is it possible for the software of the phone that receives a SMS to recognize a phone-number in an incoming text-message and present it as a working hyperlink?
That's easy to check. Send yourself such a message from any other phone (maybe even your own) and see how it shows on yours.
The outcome of your experiments would be interesting enough to post here, I assume.
I was surprised to receive a message with a hyperlink to a phone number [underlined phone number] which if I tap, would open up the phone dialer ... ready for a call.
I have a SAMSUNG OMNIA II (GT-18000) smart phone. Is it possibe to create these type of messages, and if so,how ? [since I am able to receive such and activate the hyperlink...].
