Question

SmartShare doesn't seem so 'Smart'

by billynibbles / January 10, 2016 10:04 PM PST

I've just bought a 55FU850V in the UK. On the whole, very satisfied with picture quality which was my main concern having persuaded my wife that what we really wanted for Christmas was a move up from 42" TV!

However, using SmartShare to play my music from my PC is less than useful. Despite my PC's ripped tracks following the usual Windows "My Music/Artist/Album/trackname" directory structure, Smart Share ignore all this and just presents what's in My Music in one amorphous 'lump' . When I ask for it to be put in alpha order, all I get are all my track Ones, followed by Track Twos. Is there something I'm doing wrong, maybe at the PC end? I haven't even dared have it scan my photos yet as this would be equally useless with a directory structure.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
