Smarthub ever going to become reliable?

by ldnail / January 20, 2014 10:50 AM PST

So here I am with my plasma TV (PN51D6500DF). I love this TV for its display qualities. I set up and used the Smarthub for Netflilx and Hulu because it was easy and convenient her to use.

With stunning regularity, we are blessed with black screens, reboots, forced to log in time after time after time, and most happily we can not connect to Netflix unless we reset everything.

All this happens on the same network connection as a Western Digital WD TV Live, 2 XBoxes, 1 Mac, 2 PCs, 4 android phones, 2 android tablets, 1 iphone, and 1 iPAD. All of which mysteriously have 'zero' problems (2 at a time of course) connecting to Netflix or Hulu when the TV is spectacularly failing. This is to illustrate its not a connectivity issue.

I am an IT professional... I work on stuff like all day long.

So my question is, what is the story with SmartHub apps and their stability issues?

Are you ever going to fix this hardware and software stack?
