The feature may or may not work. And if the video source is HDMI or an app, it might be blocked. Frankly this feature is in need of a major redo so instead of just dropping out it pulls up an error such as "can not display HDMI sources."

I just purchased a 3D 4K Samsung TV (UN55HU8550FXZA) and I was excited in using the Smart View 2.0 thru my iPhone. The TV is connect to the internet no issues. I installed the app on my iPhone, the iPhone find the TV, it connects, and then it disconnects immediately. I call 3 times the Samsung tech support, and spend over 2 hours on the phone, they keep sending me left and right, and the irony is that I was told by a senior tech support person that there is NO Samsung Smart View 2.0 app for iPhone. And when I told him that there is one on iTunes, that says that the developer is Samsung, he replied that the app is only for Android devices.
Well does any one has any similar issues? or am I the only person on earth that has a Samsung Smart TV that wants to connect an iPhone to it?
Thanks
