I have the same issue with a UN55HU8700FXZA. From everything I've read online, the issue appears to be the Samsung Smart View 2.0 does not work with anything IOS 6 or above and has not been updated in some time. The problem is with the App, not your TV or Phone.
I just purchased an UE65HU8200LXZF TV and installed Smart View 2.0 on my iPhone 5 and on my iPad 2 (both on iOS 8).
Smart View launches well and detects the TV but just after the TV selection I have an error message saying that the connection is lost.
What can I do to make Smart View work or to send my phone / tab contents on my TV?
