The problem with the Smart TV is apparent when you look at how support fades after a few years. The TVs all seem to last about the same (you can get Consumer Reports on that) but the software in the Smart TV area is a mess.

First we start with a web browser that is not even close to any PC or even an iPad.
Next the apps can outright vanish or have bugs that are never addressed.

It was a great idea but fails. Forget Smart TVs and focus on picture quality and warranty duration.
