Question

Smart tv wont stay signed into youtube app.

I keep having to go through the process of signing into youtube and going to youtube.com/activate. My netflix and hulu stay signed in, sometimes I can go back and forth between the apps, but it seems like if I don't click on youtube for an hour or so it signs me out and I have to activate it again.

I have tried resetting the smart hub, and I have the dns set to 8.8.8.8

sounds like a cookie problem

Might be better to contact youtube about it.

Answer
I read another report on this.

It's a shame but since Google writes the app, Samsung has little pull about the bug.

If this is broeken then ask for a refund or compensation as the product is defective.

Thanks

Currently in youtube forums as well. I'm hoping it's just an app issue. Don't think it's worth going to the pain of returning it to amazon for something like this.

You can imagine

They hope folk won't return over bugs. This issue only seems to worsen as smart TVs age.
