Secured networks like that have you ask your network administrators how to connect non-Windows, Non-Apple devices. Many have to get around this by sharing the internet connection off some PC.
These TVs are not PCs. Some are forgetting that. And you should see the same issue with the Xbox, PS3 and other things.
I just got a Samsung Smart TV (model un40es6100) and I'm trying to set it up for WiFi. The only problem is that I need to put in a username AND password to access the network, but there is no place to enter the username, it only asks for the security key. (I'm in a college apartment so I don't have access to the router). Is there a special way to connect to WiFi that requires a username? I tried entering only the username and only the password, but neither worked. Any suggestions?
