Smart tv problems

Hey how's it going guys? I very recently purchased a Samsung smart tv (un55es7100). I am having a few problems with it though, I thought the problems would go away after some setting configuration and a update but it didn't. The first problem I am having is the Samsung logo that lights up when the tv is on or off or both depending on setting is acting crazy. It will start flashing on and off at random times when the tv is off, but I put it on the setting where it should be off when tv is off. The second issue I am having is when I turn the tv on the app screen pops up with out me pressing anything. And just goes away. This happens every time the tv turns on.
