Question

Smart TV dropping internet

I have a Samsung 3d smart tv. At least once a day the Internet drops. It is connected through WIFI with XFinity. We just got a brand new router and it's still dropping internet. When we go into settings it forgets what our network is, then 10 minutes later will reconfigure... help!

Samsung should walk you through the firmware update if need be, the need for the distance to be under 20 feet and such.

Wired is preferred.

Have you tried changing the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 or 4.2.2.1?

Same problem here

I have the same problem for about 2 years. Must be same tv. I got support and they fixed it remotely through firmware. Worked for about 3 days or so and still does the same. I kinda gave up. But it is very annoying to keep picking network and password every time it disconnects.

I am having the same exact issue. It's very annoying that it doesn't remember the network. We have two Samsung smart tvs and one stays connect (most of the time) while the other has errors multiple times a day.. And it's the one closest to the router!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
