Question

Smart Phone Collecting User Data

I would like to know if there is a smart phone on the US market that does not collect user data and that does not listen to conversation.
I just want a phone that I can do "smart phone things" without having to share my entire life with.

Answer
Have to write no.

Even a non-smart phone has taps for our government and the carrier logs who calls and who you call. I guess for folk that don't want that you would use a BURNER PHONE you bought with cash.

Something to rember

Often the collected data is gathered by installed applications. Some data is gathered by the government and users cannot be opted out by the user.
