Smart Keystroke Recorder

Jan 27, 2011 5:43PM PST

I downloaded the Smart Keystroke Recorder 4.10 but it gives an error message Runtime Error! "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." The program is not even getting uninstalled "Add or Remove program" which gives a message "The application failed to initialize properly(0X0000022). Click on OK to terminate the application". This gives another message " Error while stopping previously installed application. Close application & press 'retry' button.
Can someone please help me how to uninstall the program? I'm using Windows XP.

Two options:
1. System Restore back to a restore point before you installed this program.
2. Reboot in Safe Mode and try uninstalling again. Might very well make a difference.

If none of the 2 above succeed, delete the folder the install created in Program Files (to the recycle bin, of course) and that should be sufficient if you don't care about a few now useless entries in the registry.

Thanks Kees

Option 2 worked.
