I have a Samsung UN55ES7500 bought back in 2012. I repeatedly get "Starting" on the screen when I press the SmartHub button on the remote that hangs. Turning off the TV and back on and then pressing the SmartHub button results in SmartHub downloading all over again and installing. Sometimes it installs successfully and sometimes it does not, forcing me to repeat turning off and back on several times.before it successfully installs and works for a day or two before failing again as described above. This has been going on for years. Samsung support suggested a factory reset which worked for a week or two before failing again. Obviously, this TV has problems with hardware, memory, or something that corrupts the SmartHub application forcing a reinstall. Doing a factory reset is only a temporary fix.
A couple of weeks ago most of my apps disappeared from Smarthub
Since then whenever I have entered Smarthub it has prompted an update but then has frozen before any of the apps have actually appeared on the screen. Any idea what this is? Network seems to be working as the Apps which are there (eg the I players) are working
